Each System 4100 unit is wired in parallel from a central power supply using 16 AWG wire as the bus wire, with two pair telephone wire pigtails spliced in at each unit location. Each two-pair telephone wire pigtail should be terminated with an RJ-11 plug for connection to the unit. Connect the two pair telephone wire to pins 3 and 4 on the RJ-11 plug. The power supply is the only component of the system that needs to be plugged into a 110V/220V outlet. (See Hardwire Instructions)
